The AIU DifferenceScience has yet to discover the precise mechanism by which the individual learns. However, it is acknowledged that the act of learning is endogenous, (from within), rather than exogenous. This fact is the underlying rationale for “Distance Learning” in general, and all of the Degree Programs offered by the University. The combination of the underlying principles of student “self instruction”, (with guidance), collaborative development of curriculum unique to each student (Course and Curriculum), and flexibility of time and place of study, provides, what we consider to be, the ideal learning environment. It is created with the purpose of satisfying individual needs and providing personal development for each student. The University exists as an institution of experiential learning and non-traditional education at a distance. There are no classrooms and attendance is not required. |
Communication with our students is via electronic mail, telephone or the postal service. Requirements (Admissions Requirements)are a willing and motivated student, who will prioritize their time and maintain a self-study program. Our goal is to advance the academic and professional careers of our students. By recognizing the knowledge gained in both school and “Life Experience” settings, AIU is able to grant degrees reflective of the student’s true academic status. At AIU we believe the individual has the right to select a convenient, affordable educational alternative(Tuitions). Knowledge is not just a personal triumph it advances the universal community. |
