Organizations, Migration Flows, and Humanitarian Crises
To continue addressing the different entities that belong to the United Nations system of specialized agencies, we will focus on those that deal with the topic of migration.
The study of trends in migratory flows involves a set of very important indicators for analysis at the international level. This issue must be viewed from the perspective of the humanitarian crisis or refugee crisis that has been unfolding in different regions of the world, although it is worth highlighting the cases of Europe and the southern United States.
This global problem is being addressed from different perspectives. We will focus on the institutional view and complement it with some contributions and critiques from the perspective of international solidarity. In this way, we will be able to objectively analyze the work of international organizations such as UNHCR.

Date: Thursday, November 20th at 10:00 a.m., US Eastern Time.
Topic: Legal Studies

Meeting ID: 826 9079 8917
Passcode: 846141
