Awareness & the Science of the Mind
This introductory session explores how awareness serves as the foundation for emotional regulation, focus, and productivity. In addition, the session will introduce the spiritual understanding of fundamental principles that govern one’s life experiences. Students will learn the neuroscience behind stress, understanding how the brain’s reactive circuits (amygdala and cortisol responses) can be consciously redirected through mindfulness and self-awareness practices.
