ABSTRACT
The term “PARAMETRICISM” refers to a modern, epochal worldwide style of architecture that
encompasses all design disciplines and serves as a crucial standard for architectural design. Recently, the
word has grown into a mature global movement that addresses modern concerns in technology, design, and
urbanism. While it can be a potent tool in the realm of the design process in architecture design, it is only
recognized as physically applied parametric modeling techniques. Parametric design has recently become a
motto because it is used primarily to design structures that respond to their environment, climatic issues,
and contextual features.
In order to establish a framework for parametric design procedure by implementing computerized tools,
methodologies, and enablers in the skeleton of design and achieve an integrated approach in architecture
design milieu, this thesis attempts to investigate in existing design processes and design thinking. The
framework created could be a substitute approach where parametric design is employed as a tool to address
multilingual design process and design thinking characteristics. The research’s technique is based on the
external layer of the notion of pattern language, where assistive technologies build pattern layers to
decompose complex issues into more manageable ones.
In order to extract the ongoing design process among designers and architects and gauge their familiarity
with existing methodologies and tools, a survey is also undertaken as the inner layer of methodology. The
end result will be a systematic framework for parametric design thinking, which will be used to bring
together existing tools and facilitators in the design process in architectural design and education in order to
improve contemporary discourse on architecture.
The study primarily combines decision-making as design activities, design processes as frameworks, and
knowledge management as tools. The constructed model might be used and put to the test by designers,
architects, institutions teaching architecture, and so on. In order to deal with the complicated problem
solving processes of current architecture, it is attempted to create a common ground that can adapt to itself
with modern technology and tools in various design sub-systems.
Architecture and Sociocultural Anthropology are the terms that tied to each other since the beginning of
design institution and practice and the main skill of an architect is to deal with existing problems in different
scale by means of understanding skeleton of the society. From the beginning on, design has followed certain
procedures and process and tried to shape itself in the form of prevailing achievements in different eras,and
this is the main challenge to resolve these constraints to have the perfect urban planning model .
The methodology of My Ph.D. will bring contributors, spanning through policy challenges. Will be
summarizing the ideas bringing them together linked in order to define actions that should be taking place
as a list of urban strategies and policies in order to make a real difference in our cities in United Kingdom
by the creating of “Bioclimatic Urban Cities” & “Digital Morphogenesis Communities taking into
consideration The Sustainable Parametricism Architectural Semiology.
