Saturnino Gomes, Doctorate in Civil Engineering

I am Saturnino Gomes (UD86493CI95714), student from Timor-Leste is currently enrolled as a student at the School of Science and Engineering, pursuing or following a Doctorate in Civil Engineering. School of Science and Engineering at Atlantic International University. My career I begun as become a Head of Scientific Investigation of Material Construction Laboratory Testing and Quality Control Ministry of Public Works (from January 2023 to August 2023). From september 2023, I am become and assumed the role of a Director for National Directorate of Quality Control for Community Housing (NDQC4CH). Ministry for Rural Development and Community Housing of Timor-Leste (from September 2023 Till now). Taking challenging responsibility an improvement rural program refers to inisiatives designed to enhance the quality of life, infrastructure, and economic opportunities in rural areas. Such programs are typically aimed and targeted at addressing challenges like poverty, lack of access to education and healthcare, unemployment, and inadequate infrastructure. Duty and Scope of Works:• To inspection and monitorization the implementation housing for communities in rural area.• To evaluation the program throughout the project implementation of community housing. During I enrolled as a student at School of Science and Engineering at Atlantic International University AIU, through program of Doctorate in Civil Engineering it is very delightful me in the journey towards a Doctor of Civil Engineering degree was interpolating in my experience of work. I gained many experience during my study through doctorate program offering by Atlantic International University. As the Director Quality Control for Community Housing here in Timor-Leste, I will contribute to developing my country Timor-Leste to go ahead and advance in science and technology based on to the our country national plan and Strategy Development Plan (SDP 2011 – 2030) or Timor-Leste National Development Plan 2011-2030. Throughout Science and Engineering programs will make meaningful contributions to research and innovation in the field for development my country in various area such as infrastructure sectors and others field.
