Congratulations to our student for his most recent achievement. The company of Dr. Dr. Guillermo Sebastian Gomez Verdejo, Quantum Matrix SpA., has won the AVONNI 2020 award. (They won in the Mining and Metallurgy category, with the technology developed by the subscriber and called Dust Remove).

By Supreme Decree No. 161 the Government of Chile, the national innovation award promulgated on October 14, 2013 is created and published in the official journal on December 17, 2013. Since 2014, the national innovation award has been recognized as the AVONNI Award.

The award is given to those who have stood out for their excellence, creativity and contribution in the field of innovation. This award is managed by the Ministry of Science, Technology, who determine each year the integration of the jury.

It is important that this award is run by universities, research centers and science centers.

Dr. Guillermo Sebastian Gomez Verdejo has completed a PhD program in Chemistry at Atlantic International University and is currently enrolled in a Postdoctoral Program in Electrochemistry.
