What are the Research Projects for Associates of Anthropology ?
At Atlantic International University, students in the Associate of Anthropology program will engage in hands-on learning and apply anthropological theories through research projects. Students will have the opportunity to research specific cultures’ customs and practices, the history of human evolution, social hierarchies, and globalisation’s effects on indigenous groups.

Publication – The Anthropology Departments student publications at the AIU represent the university’s emphasis on critical thinking, independent associate degree in anthropology research, and an awareness of global issues. Students are encouraged to develop original works which investigate issues related to cultural diversity, social structures, human evolution, and present-day global problems.

AIU’s graduates with degrees in Anthropology will find work opportunities in both professional settings and in non- profit organizations. Examples of job titles include: anthropologist, cultural anthropologist, archaeologist, ethnographer, researcher, and curator (of a museum or other heritage institution). Opportunities for employment also exist within state, local, and federal government offices and agencies, international development agencies or organizations, public policy, education, and other fields such as marketing research—where knowledge of social anthropology vs human behavior and cultural diversity is valuable (and sometimes essential).

Associate Degree in Anthropology Admission Requirements
