The Bachelor program in eVTOL Engineering (electric vertical takeoff and landing) is a program where students will be able to understand the different types of transport that are possible with eVTOL Engineering. eVTOL innovations are electric aircraft that take off, hover, and land vertically, that have large omnidirectional fans to help pilot the aircraft and move in any direction that it needs. A common eVTOL aircraft is a drone, but there are other types and designs. In this program, students will discover what it’s like to design an eVTOL, what are the capabilities for future passenger or cargo transit so that we can move in and around cities by using eVTOL technologies, a program that explores the efficiency, safety, cost, regulatory practices, flight time, range, payload capacity and other limitations that will need to be solved as we continue to make great progress for alternative forms of transport. The program of eVTOL Engineering (electric vertical takeoff and landing) at AIU, is a distance learning program that will be tailor-made and designed exclusively for you, by you, and with your counselor. The flexibility to meet your needs is rarely found in any other distance learning program.
