School of Social and Human Studies
The Master’s degree program in Islamic Studies provides students with the required knowledge and analysis of the three main lines of study: Qur’anic studies, studies on sexuality, gender and feminism in Islam, and environmental studies in Islam.
This program as a whole focuses on the analysis of contemporary subjects and issues of concern to Muslims around the world. Students will also be able to approach Islam from multiple perspectives in terms of its relationship to other religions, through comparative courses on Christianity and Judaism.
