It all started out one
day as I was surfing the Internet searching for any online colleges and
universities that can provide me higher education degree program with a flexible
schedule and a tuition that meets my budget. I found AIU from result of Google
search and spent a lot of times reading up on the university, its missions,
philosophy, and testimonials of past students, and comments from current
students, not only from the AIU main website, but also other online forums. I contacted
AIU and inquired more information. The criteria met my requirements: study at
my own pace, 100% online, tuition based on selected degree and program and not
by per credit, affordable monthly payment and partial scholarship is an added
bonus. I decided to enroll for my Ph.D/Doctoral in Science and Engineering
School, with focus on Information Technology area.
Being taught the
traditional method of learning all my academic life, I found the AIU’s Andragory
method is quite interesting. It allowed me to select and design my own courses
curriculum that meets my career path. These courses enhanced my skillsets and
provided me the necessary knowledge to ensure me passing the IT industry
certifications if I choose to pursue.
AIU platform provided me
access to all resources from its online library. In addition, the faculty
staff, advisor, and tutor were friendly and extremely responsive to my academic
needs. Feedbacks and comments in all areas were prompt and I felt very comfortable
as I continued to progress in achieving my goals and completing my study within
the time scheduled for the program.
Overall, I enjoyed the
program at AIU and I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the
admission counselor, faculty staff, advisors, and tutors for making my academic
goal became reality and an experience of a life time.
