Portfolio Submission

The Associate in Computer Science program has a portfolio submission as a central aspect of learning, helping students display their overall development in academic knowledge, technical skills, and creativity. Over the course of the program, students build a comprehensive portfolio that contains coding projects, research projects, technical reports, and structured assignments to demonstrate the student’s skills. A portfolio is useful because its contents act as evidence of the student’s ability to apply theoretical knowledge to a real-world problem.

The content of this portfolio provides evidence of the program’s ability to promote the cultivation of technical skills, but also provides data on the student’s problem-solving mindset and innovative style, as well as their overall readiness to pursue their next opportunity (advanced studies or a computer science career).
