The Associate in Environmental Science program at AIU offers a robust range of core courses that provide a strong basis in the theory of environmental science, methods of science, and a variety of practical applications. Orientation Courses

Research Projects

The Associate in Environmental Science program allows students the opportunity to demonstrate theoretical knowledge through research conducted through AIU and investigate real-world environmental challenges. The Associate in Environmental Science program at AIU requires prospective students to complete an online admissions application. AIU’s Admissions and Review Committee may call any potential student for a phone interview. All students must provide a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, in addition to a curriculum vitae or résumé that includes all of the student’s educational background and professional work experience. AIU will take all of your life experiences into consideration as well as your academic record to develop a personalized curriculum that will be aligned with your strengths and interests within the parameters of market opportunity. Our educational model is flexible and student-centered so that it is meaningful to you personally and professionally, and most importantly, it’s applicable in the growing field of environmental science.

How Can You Apply?

Complete the Online Application – Go to AIU’s application page and complete the online admissions form with your personal, academic and contact information.

  • Submit your Educational Documentation- Submit a copy of your high school diploma, GED or equivalent and transcript if available.
  • Submit your Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Résumé – Write a brief outline of your academic history, any work history and any documented achievements.
  • Admissions Reform- The AIU Admissions and Review Committee will then review your application, your documents, your employment experience, and your academic experience. They may ask you to have a telephone interview if required.
  • Receive Acceptance Notification- Once the admissions committee process is complete, you will receive an official admission acceptance letter and information regarding your individualized program structure. 
  • Confirm Enrollment- Sign an enrollment agreement, and set up your tuition payment plan, if applicable.
