The Postdoctoral program in Islamic Studies provides students with the research tools necessary to engage in educating or generating contributions to the academic field of Islamic Studies in its three core areas: Quranic Studies, Studies in Sexuality, Gender and Feminism in Islam, and Environmental Studies in Islam.

The professional will be prepared to discuss and analyze contemporary issues of concern to Muslims around the world, but also the relationship of Islam with other religions through comparative courses on Christianity and Judaism.

Our program does not require every student to study the same subjects and use the same books and other learning materials as every other student.
