In 2022, it would be worth about $650 billion, and it would reach $783.3 billion by 2024. By 2030, these revenues could exceed $5 trillion.”

  • The regions of the world that are most involved in the development of the metaverse in terms of market share are North America (with a 45.3% market share), Europe, and Asia Pacific, according to a study by Emergen Research.

  • According to an IPSOS study, the 5 countries where the metaverse garners the most positive views among the populations surveyed are China, India, Peru, Saudi Arabia, and Colombia. By contrast, respondents in higher-income countries (such as the United States, Switzerland, or France) are less enthusiastic about the metaverse.

  • Apple: The famous company Apple is already preparing its own devices related to the metaverse such as its augmented reality glasses that will probably be announced in January 2023.
