Atlantic International University is pleased to share the Doctor of Public Health Thesis Defense of one of our students- Mauricio Morales. He recently presented his thesis defense- which was graded with an outstanding. His thesis was entitled: “INDIVIDUALS BEHAVIORS AS GENERATORS OF COLLECTIVE BEHAVIORS FROM THE CONCEPT OF PUBLIC HEALTH”.

ABSTRACT:
The concept of public health must go beyond a set of activities or strategies based on the study of health and disease in communities aimed at protecting the health of the population and promoting healthy lifestyles- understanding that the above is encapsulated in only one definition and that although it stimulates practice it is far from generating a collective behavior.
