Dear Sirs,
My study in AIU carried to me two new
experiences; distant learning and self-education or Andragogy, both are quite
different from traditional classroom based studies experiences that I had
earlier in my life.
During my study, I discovered skills and
abilities in myself, I did not recognize or use before. Every assignment was a
challenge to me to which helped to enhance my abilities in research and
academic achievement and while proceeding from one assignment to another I
challenged myself more and more in improving my work and commitment to
deadlines.
Distance learning open a way to people to
upgrade their knowledge and earn new experiences while maintaining their jobs
and looking after their families. It presents a novel and critical use of the
new century tools and technologies; computers and internet. In addition, it
represents a humanistic response to the communication revolution that developed
based on these technologies.
Andragogy or self-learning philosophy adopted
in AIU gives the static new century technologies a dynamic perspective that
enables everyone to discover and enhance his personal resources and ability to
learn. It allows you to learn what you feel it is necessary to learn in an
attractive way far away from the lecturing boring traditional older ways of
learning.
AIU offers a flexible yet well-organized wide
range of programs for distance learning that respect students’ needs and
wishes. Although it is a self-learning program, one can find every help and
support he/she can need within a reasonable timetable.
An endless effort of a highly dedicated staff
can easily be recognized out of their students’ achievements, which clearly
shows they have a vision and hold a mission they are working hardly to
accomplish.
I would like to
state my true appreciation to AIU staff for the time and effort you spent in helping me during my study.
I sincerely appreciate your support and understanding of my career goals and
recommending strategies for achieving them. Your advice was very helpful and
gave me a new perspective on available opportunities.
